Gorrondona Engineering Services, Inc. (GES) is a Houston-based privately held Texas corporation specializing in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing and inspection (CMT). GES owns and operates truck-, buggy-, and track-mounted drilling rigs and maintains full-service geotechnical and CMT laboratories in Houston and Fort Worth accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and AASHTO. With a staff of 100+, including engineers, project managers, technicians, and support staff, we are positioned to handle any area project, small to large. The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for using their experience in the architectural, engineering and/or construction industry to promote Gorrondona Engineering Services, Inc. in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining existing client communication. This manager will continually research, develop and market to new industries, diligently creating new strategies to grow the company. See Company Information below.
The job requires traveling within Dallas-Fort Worth and the Texas region for client meetings and events as well as staying on top of current trends in the industry.
Typical roles and responsibilities
3-5 years’ experience in sales
Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing, business, finance or management
