Mr. Riner is a registered professional engineer with over 30 years of progressively responsible and diverse technical, managerial and business development experience in the geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and inspection (CMT), and environmental consulting/remediation industries. Mr. Riner brings a technically competent and pragmatic problem solving approach, along with an understanding of construction and related cost issues. Mr. Riner has been directly involved in thousands of large and small geotechnical engineering projects throughout Texas for both private and public clients. His expertise includes foundations, expansive soils, slope and erosion protection, retention structures, excavations and utilities, pavement design, and failure analysis and forensic studies. Mr. Riner’s duties include providing leadership, strategic and tactical planning, technical guidance, operations guidance, sales and marketing, and establishment and maintenance of quality.
Mr. Riner holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering from Texas A&M University and was a member of Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering honor society. Mr. Riner is a member of the Texas A&M University Center for Research in Geo-Engineering Practice (CERGEP), a practice oriented research sponsor group.
